Let me show you how to clean baby and toddler toys with this simple DIY cleaner. It's all-natural and non-toxic, which is perfect when you have little ones.

It cleans really well and smells good, too, if you decide to add in essential oil.

You do not need harsh chemicals to clean up dirty cars, trucks, rattles, and balls. In this recipe, vinegar does the trick! I definitely recommend getting a nice, big bottle of vinegar because it's so versatile, you'll use it for cleaning much more than baby toys.

This DIY cleaning mixture will easily clean non-porous toy surfaces.

Supplies Needed

Distilled White Vinegar

Lavender Essential Oil

Water

Spray Bottle

Soft Cloth

Towel

Step by Step Instructions

1. In a clean spray bottle, add in water until it's about 2/3 full. A 50/50 mix is also acceptable.

2. Fill the spray bottle the rest of the way with your vinegar.

3. Add in 3-5 drops of your essential oil. More is totally ok.

4. Shake to mix.

5. Spray the mixture on your child's toy and/or a soft cloth and wipe clean.

This is such a quick and easy way to clean toys and yes, they really do get clean!

If you feel like your mixture smells to "vinegar-y", you can always add a bit more of the essential oil. And remember, once the mixture dries, the vinegar smell goes away.
