pop up play tents kids can't get enough of

I thought I’d share some pop up play tents kids can’t get enough of – well, at least MY kid can’t! See, he fell in love with the song “Wheels on the Bus” and then EVERYTHING “buses.” So we got him a school bus toddler play tent and he loves it.

When I was shopping around, I wanted something that could spark his imagination, so I wanted something that looked like it would be fun to play with. I also wanted something he could play with at home or take on trips.

This is what I bought…

Foldable Indoor Outdoor School Bus Pop Up Play Tent for Kids

The Ultimate School Bus Pop Up Play Tent

Our pop up school bus tent gets used ALL the TIME!

But when I was shopping around, I found that there were so many fun tents to choose from and they could be used indoors, outdoors, for nap time, as a clubhouse or hideout.

And I love that they fold down easily and can be slipped behind a door, in a closet, or underneath a couch so it’s out of sight. But it can be quickly set up again! And as I said before, it’s also easy to pack in a car and take on trips to visit family.

Pop Up Play Tents Boys Can’t Destroy!

I also needed something that my little guy wouldn’t destroy right away. Like I’ve said, he is a rough-and-tumble boy and while he respects his toys pretty well, he’s a toddler and he plays with his toys.

So it’s nice when something I buy can stand up to playtime and last a while!

Pop Up Play Tents Children Can Use Inside and Out

I also think it’s great if your kiddo can use a pop up tent inside OR outside and you’ll want to check the material of the tent you get if this is important.

I will say that the one I bought is made of this slick polyester material that can get dirty and wet and just get wiped clean with a damp cloth – or even hosed off if it’s really dirty. Then I just air dry it, if necessary and it’s good to go.

Girly Girl Pop Up Play Tents

Maybe you have a girly girl on your hands and she’d rather have something that’s bright and sparkly and, well, girly. There are some really fun tents to choose from!

Although some of these come WITH lights, you could always add twinkle lights to any play tent you get. Fairy lights definitely add a bit of magic to playtime!

We Love Pop Up Play Tents for Kids!

Remember being a kid and making a blanket fort out of kitchen chairs, pillows, and blankets? That’s why we love pop up play tents for kids because it brings to mind that warm, fuzzy memory {and YES, we still make blanket forts! 😄}

These open up SO quickly and can be played with in SO many ways – we use our toddler slide, our favorite school bus, balls, stuffed animals, pillows, and other fun toys. It’s a clubhouse, a hideout, a sleep tent…it’s just fun.
